As a kid, I spent every summer with my grandparents in a small town in Central Mississippi, and I remember when “going to town” was a big deal.  My grand-daddy and I would go into the little town of Florence, that had a one blinking light, and get the essentials needed for the farm.  We would shop at the Western Auto for all things work related, and then if was off to Jimmy’s barbershop to harass him about being an “Ole Miss” fan.  All the while, we did what some companies today spend millions of dollars to accomplish, we were developing relationships.
